Swingers - Bayviews popular beginners Golf Program
Have you wanted to take up golf but not sure how to get started?
Well Bayview Swingers is the program for you!
Tiffany Mika (Australian Golf Teachers Federation & World Golf Teachers Federation member) from our Pro Shop runs the Bayview Swingers Program where you will learn how to play golf and the rules and etiquette all in a fun and supportive environment with other ladies wanting to learn just like yourself. Many of our Swingers go on to becoming Full playing members, win competitions and events held at Bayview and make lasting friendships.
Swingers play an 11 & 18 hole competitions every Monday morning and participate in a half hour clinic prior to teeing off in Monday's Competition. There are 3 half hour clinics available. Great way to develop your skills prior to playing in the comp of the day.

Prior to joining the Swingers Program, it is recommended that you learn the basic skills of golf to get you started.
Tiffany runs 5 WEEK INTRODUCTORY PROGRAMS for those who have had very limited golf experience if none at all, to help you get on your way. The format, dates and cost of the program are listed below.

This includes 5 weeks tuition plus beginners pack. Each session’s duration is 1 hour & 30 minutes. Maximum of 8 people per class.

Aveo Swingers Cup
The Swingers Cup is an annual event proudly sponsored by Aveo Bayview Gardens.
This year the event is held on Monday 4th April 2011. The Swingers Cup is open to all Swingers Members from Bayview and surrounding clubs. Full playing members who wish to play and invited friends with handicaps are especially welcome too!. Bring as many friends to play as you can, there are lots of prizes available. Local companies contributing prizes towards the day.
Three events will be held on the day, Swingers Cup Interclub Challenge, Aveo Swingers Cup & Individual Stableford for all other members of Bayview and other clubs.

Conditions of Swinger Membership
We will be accepting new Swingers once completed the Introductory Golf Program, and induction will be scheduled for the second Tuesday evening of each month.
Conditions of Membership
- To be eligible for Swingers, you must not be a member of any golf club or hold a current WGU handicap.
- This membership is offered and restricted to a maximum 2 year period from joining.
- The annual Swingers fee is $410.00 (GST inclusive).
- At the conclusion of your Swingers term, on conversion to 5, 6, or 7 day membership, the First Year's Annual Swingers Fees paid may be deducted from the *Full Entry Fee* payable (currently set at $2500). Note: this condition only applies to the full entry fee, not to discounted entry fees.
- Once you have converted to a 5, 6 or 7 day membership, you are no longer eligible to participate in the Swingers programme. A swingers handicap of 30 should be obtained before transferring to the above membership category.
- The annual Swingers fees are non-refundable if you decide not to convert to full membership at the end of your term.
- As a Swinger, you will be accepted onto the Club Membership roll, allowing you the right to access the Clubhouse facilities at any time during the hours of operation.
- The Swingers 11 hole Competition is conducted on a Monday morning and the cost is $11.00 plus the ball competition of $2.
- Social Play on any other day is permitted subject to booking a tee time through the Pro Shop.
- Swingers Golf Clinics will be conducted by Golf Teaching Professional, Tiffany Mika (Australian Golf Teachers Federation & World Golf Teachers Federation member)on a regular basis and on course tuition will also be provided. Private golf lessons and packages are also available if you are keen to improve.
- You will receive a copy of the R & A Rules of Golf, as well as a Golf Etiquette booklet to help with your introduction to golf.
